Renmin University of China
Renmin University of China, often referred to as RUC (simplified Chinese: 中国人民大学; traditional Chinese: 中國人民大學; pinyin: Zhōngguó Rénmín Dàxué), or colloquially Renda (Chinese: 人大; pinyin: Réndà), is a public research university located in Haidian District of Beijing, China. Founded by the Communist Party of China, RUC possesses academic strengths in humanities and social sciences, and is classified as a Class A university under the Double First Class University Plan.
