Overview
The fact that Wikipedia is an invaluable corpus for knowledge extraction has been confirmed in various research areas such as AI, IR and Web Mining. In previous researches, authors have proved that authors can extract a huge scale and accurate association thesaurus from Wikipedia. However, to construct a Web ontology from Wikipedia, extracting explicit relation types is a remaining technical issue. In this paper, authors propose a method to construct a Web ontology from Wikipedia based on NLP and link structure analysis.
