UGC-NET is an eligibility examination for those who are aspiring for the academic jobs in the universities and colleges in India. There are multiple sources, mainly printed publications, available for preparation of UGC-NET exams. The present study examines the suitability of [[Wikipedia]] as a source for preparation. The Wikipedia was also examined from other parameters such as up-to-datedness, comprehensiveness, illustrations, and references and external links. The analyses show that Wikipedia could be a source for preparation for UGC-NET.
