The PhD project explores the design of textual and pictorial elements in selected Wikipedia articles and their influence on users’ information behaviour. Eye-tracking experiments, questionnaires and knowledge tests are conducted to get insights into users’ behaviour. The aim is to detect correlations between the reception of text/images and different parameters like learning style, prior knowledge and subject of study.
