Overview

This paper proposes a method to build and analyze social networks of person entities on Wikipedia. Here each person entity is represented by a few attributes. Different estimation approaches of attribute similarity are used, on which authors employ the Systematic Similarity Measure theory to compute the person entity similarity. On the basis of the similarity array of person entities, authors build the social network for them. On Wikipedia data, authors conduct some experiments on social network analysis, and the experimental results show social network mining approaches are effective.
