Relation Between Wikipedia Edits and News Published - scientific work related to Wikipedia quality published in 2015, written by Dominique Henkes.

Overview

This research looks at the relation between the number of Wikipedia edits on corporate pages and the number of news published by English newspapers over a specified time span. Contrary to previous studies that only focused on the relation between Twitter or Facebook and present incidents, the goal of this paper is to show if and how Wikipedia entries are affected by current events. The new insights could help companies generate and keep a good corporate image that helps with sales, customer loyalty or customer acquisition.
