Overview

Based on expounding the core of CAS theory,this paper describes the complex adaptive features of wikipedia,defines four types of order degree index, which are website,content,users and organizations,evaluates the order degree of wikipedia,and analyzes the mechanism of ordering in wikipedia.The conclusion is that the thought of believing in mass wisdom and the mechanism of promoting circulation of information are the key factors leading to an orderly and successful evolution of wikipedia.
