Overview

Wikipedia has planetary systems as mutually exclusive of star systems and multiple star systems. A simple correction (with options) is provided so that astronomy can be simplified for the 21st century in light of the General Theory of Stellar Metamorphosis. Verbatim off Wikipedia on “planetary system”: “A planetary system is a set of gravitationally bound non-stellar objects in orbit around a star or star system.” On “star system”: “A star system or stellar system is a small number of stars that orbit each other,[1] bound by gravitational attraction.” As the reader can see, they have made star science unnecessarily complex. A “planet” is an ancient star, they are both astrons. Authors can keep planet, but it must be understood that planet actually means “older astron”, and star means “young astron”, Or, Authors can call all systems as multiple star systems (as they are all stars in different stages of evolution), or just star systems, Or, Authors can call all systems as multiple planet systems (as they are all planets in different stages of evolution), or just planetary systems.
