Overview

With the changes introduced to medical and health-related curricula and the use of problem-based learning, students tend to use online resources such as Wikipedia in their search for learning issues. However, concerns with the quality and authorship of information of online resources and whether they can be considered a credible source of information have been raised. This study is aimed at evaluating the accuracy of Wikipedia articles on common nervous system diseases to determine whether these resources are accurate, clear, up-to-date, and at the standards required by medical schools.
